The association 43 FILMS  was founded in April 2004 to create, produce and promote cultural events and audio-visual programmes expressing today's cultures. The aim is to make these projects liveable, find financing and give access to artists, ideas, films in non-conventional places and create a different relationship with the spectator. Kulturring in Berlin

The Kulturring is a non-profit organisation across Berlin supporting local culture in its widest sense. This includes many local artists, exhibitions, school projects, training for the unemployed, a chamber orchestra, festivals and publications. Its educational branch is involved in European projects in the area of language acquisition and awareness and also media education.

Our focus :

MAB Lingua approach of language learning is based on the following principles:
- Determination of a teaching programme after an initial free assessmentof the students level, perceived learning strengths as well as his or her goals.
- Lessons of 45 minutes, on the students site (home or office), individually or in small groups (in the latter case, the school must determine first the students commonality of goals and levels).
-Educational method designed to overcome beginners inhibitions through an active role of the student;
- Conversational topics and media used in the lessons are adapted to each student or group of students (newspaper and magazine articles, video, role playing etc.)

pleaseletmedesign is a duo of young graphic designers comprising Pierre Smeets (b. 1981) and Damien Aresta (b. 1979). They set up their own graphic design studio in 2004 after graduating from Saint-Luc Higher School of Arts in Liège (Belgium) and spending almost a full year in ERG (Graphic Research School) in Brussels (Belgium). The projects of pleaseletmedesign range from graphic design, books, posters, identities and stationery to exhibition design, signage, titles sequences, and website in cultural sectors as diverse as music, architecture, cinema and advertising.

Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski

Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” is the first school of higher education in Bulgaria. Although organized educational activities in Bulgaria date back to the second half of the ninth century, when Kliment and Naum, students and associates of Cyril and Methodius, founded schools of public education in Ohrid and Preslav with the support of the Bulgarian king Boris I, Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” was established in 1888 in order “to offer higher education and prepare teachers for high schools.” The first class was made up of 43 students, all of them men. There was only one Faculty of History and Philology, with three specialties: history, Slavic philology and philosophy with pedagogy. In 1998, Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” celebrated its 110^th anniversary as a fully developed academic institution with European and world-wide prestige. It currently boasts 17 faculties and offers more than 100 degree courses in the humanities and sciences. Among these faculties one should mention in particular the Faculty of Classical and Modern Philology as an actual proscenium of foreign languages, cultures and area studies education programs.

The history of the Faculty of Classical and Modern Philology is inseparable from that of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. At present, the Faculty of Classical and Modern Philology comprises 10 departments and 19 specialties (degree courses) on BA, MA and Dr. level, and as such is the largest faculty at Sofia University. This faculty is a unique national centre of non-Slavic languages, literatures and cultures. The faculty’s academic staff numbers more than 200 full-time and as many part-time lecturers, whose efforts focus on a variety of basic research in applied areas.

In 1986, the Center of Asian Languages and Cultures was established as a part of the Faculty of Classical and Modern Philology. Currently, with eight specialties (majors) in Turkish, Arabic, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Iranian, Korean and Armenian Studies, the Center has grown into the largest academic institution of Oriental Studies in Southeastern Europe. These majors are structured in the form of four Departments, as follows: Department of East Asian Studies (Korean, Chinese and Japanese), Department of Classical Oriental Studies (Indian, Iranian and Armenian), Department of Arab and Semitic Studies and Department of Turkish and Altaic Studies.
